Dallas Hospitality

Here I am on my way to the Wild Rose Press (where romance blooms) writing retreat in Bandera, Texas.  Going to spend the weekend at the Silver Spur Ranch and ride dudes . . . ah . . .  horses and write.  On the road to Bandera, we stopped at the Embassy Suites in Dallas for the night.  The best thing about road trips are the people you meet along the way.  Tammy, Mark, and Mr. T. took great care of us, and are just good people.

Mark is the best bartender, bar none.  He’s not only quick with the drinks but remembers what everyone is drinking.  He’s cheery, funny, and cute.

Tammy, Mark, Linda, & Pam

Tammy is the hostess with the mostest.  She made sure our glasses where never empty and found a great restaurant, Saltgrass, aka Saltyass per Big Foot Pam. (and she wasn’t even drinking.)

Mr. T drove us to and from the restaurant and was so cute, I wanted to pinch his cheeks.

Mr T., Linda, & Me

If you’re ever in Dallas, stop at the Embassy Suites at Park Central area and say hi to Tammy, Mark, and Mr. T.  Tell them the Sisterhood sent them.

  1. Oh Ruth, you bring out the best in people everywhere and are the original character about whom it is said, “She never met a stranger.”
